We plan to conduct a series of dives on the wrecks of Kriegsmarine ships sunk during World War II in the vicinity of the Gdańsk Bay.
We aim to gain a deeper understanding of and document the history of local shipwrecks of warships that served in the Kriegsmarine during World War II.
There are at least a dozen German shipwrecks in the vicinity of our area – the Bay of Gdańsk. Examples of shipwrecks we will visit are: Franken,Munin Minesweeper, U-272, U-367 and many more. Target range of depths: from 30m to 70m maximum. Depending on the weather conditions and the amount of participants we hope to run up to 7 days of diving!
This diving trip is addressed to divers on GUE Tech1 / GUE CCR Tech1 level or higher.
We plan to complete as many boat dives as possible during the following dates: from 8 till 13 July 2025 .
Our base is located close to the center of Gdańsk. We provide gas fills (Trimix, Nitrox, Oxygen), equipment rental including twinsets, stages and weights.
Boat:
THORR is a vessel that previously served as a patrol boat for the Maritime Border Guard. After completing its service, it was taken over by a private owner and adapted for diving expeditions. It is equipped with a lift, benches, berths, and a barbeque:-).
Accommodation:
We can offer you budget rooms in our diving center for 15€ per night.

Important note:
The weather in the Baltic Sea is difficult to predict. We have to be flexible and adapt to weather conditions. What will we do if one day we can’t go out of the harbour? We will still dive on other wrecks that will be sheltered or in local lakes! We can also visit some of local attractions (see below).
