The GUE Doubles Primer is a course designed to teach divers how to dive safely and comfortably using a double tank configuration, using the correct equipment and techniques.
To safely extend the time underwater, increase the depth limit or dive in colder waters, divers should increase the available supply of breathing gas and ensure equipment redundancy.
DETAILS
The Doubles Primer course is usually completed in one day. It includes a minimum of two dives and at least eight hours of instruction, including theoretical lectures, dry runs and in-water activities.
During this training you will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas:
🗹 theory and practical use of double cylinder configurations,
🗹 value of the configuration compliant with GUE standards,
🗹 buoyancy management and trim,
🗹 basic manifold operations in a twinset set-up,
🗹 overall skills improvement.
Everyone who wants to start diving with a twinset configuration will benefit from this course. The Doubles Primer training is particularly useful for those planning to take the GUE Fundamentals course later on.
