I would like to sincerely thank my instructor Bartek for his exceptional professionalism, patience, and passion throughout the course. His ability to clearly explain complex concepts and demonstrate every skill with precision made the training both enjoyable and highly effective. What I valued the most was the calm, constructive atmosphere and the constant focus on safety and teamwork, which perfectly reflects the spirit of GUE.
I am also deeply impressed by GUE as an organization. The structure, philosophy, and high standards truly distinguish it from other training agencies. I strongly appreciate the holistic approach to diving—linking education, conservation, and exploration. I left the course not only with improved skills, but also with a sense of belonging to a global community that truly cares about excellence underwater.
Overall, the experience exceeded my expectations and further strengthened my motivation to continue developing with GUE.

I traveled to Hańcza Lake to go through my Fundies course with Bartek, after hearing glowing reviews of him from people across the planet. The course was very eye opening and a great learning experience, totally worth it, 4 days of intense training. Bartek was completely committed to making us better divers, dusk to dawn.

I feel extremely satisfied with my training and cannot imagine myself taking this class with someone else than Bartek. Besides His undisputable professionalism, shockingly-high level of scuba skills and knowledge, He is a very kind and open-hearted person, and because of this attitude You, as a student, just love to spend time with Him. He perfectly adjusted level of difficulty while my class – basically making my life underwater harder, just how I like it:) Although He never let me feel endangered, never compromised the safety! It is also worth mentioning, that Bartek spent TREMENDOUS amount of time answering my additional questions. He did it with an infinite passion in His eyes, so listening to Him was pure pleasure! So the entire class was the experience i will never forget! I feel like its a begging of my new path in diving, and with this class i took a first step.

A great course!
After a dozen other courses, including a trimix certification, I finally did the GUE Tech1 and can say it was totally worth it. Efficient, safe dive planning, understanding of decompression theory, clear and efficient team procedures and great dives in Calabria, southern Italy.
I did the course with Bartek and can recommend him without reservation.

GUE Fundamentals was one of the most demanding trainings I have ever attended. Every second of the course was valuable to me.

GUE Fundamentals – basic course for Jedi divers 😅 , this is how I have always seen it. I used to be very impressed by it, but something always pulled me away from this course. After all, I know the basics. I know what it’s about and I identify myself with the GUE philosophy… Anyway, I’m an instructor, so I think I can do something.
This was the case before the course.
The first day of training and boom! “Oh crap, an interesting observation. I didn’t see it that way.” And this… and that…
I thought that I was a good team player, that I paid attention to details, that my technique was good. Bartek showed me everything anew, even though I have never had to deal with instructors of poor quality in the process of my diving path. They have always been the best Cossacks who impressed me and still impress with their knowledge and experience. Bartek put it all together and cleared it of my “shortcuts”. He showed it in a complete way why we do everything in this and not another way.
I realized that GUE has clearly defined rules and it is impossible to reject elements that do not suit us because in a broader perspective they are necessary and lead to something.
In the splendor of the divetrek forum, I regretted very much that WAF stopped teaching. Today I know that BAT is not someone who just filled the gap. He is a worthy successor who continues teaching at the same level, and due to his young age, openness and desire for self-development, I am convinced that he will raise the bar and standards for a multitude of other instructors.

As a professional firefighter, I took part in many courses. I trained in extinguishing fires, cutting vehicles, rescue at heights or performing underwater work druing rescue actions. The professionalism and commitment of the instructor, the atmosphere during the class, and the great training program make this course unique. GUE Fundamentals is the best training I have ever attended.

GUE Fundamentals Tech at Bartek Trzciński’s. A course that changed my perspective on diving, improved my sense of security and reawakened my passion. Bartek is a great instructor, a walking diving encyclopedia who makes this course approachable despite its challenges. Highly recommended for those who want to improve safety, technique, teamwork and fall in love with diving again.

I’m fresh out of the GUE Performance Diver course and it was really worth it. The training was intensive, but at the same engaging and conducted in a great, cheerful atmosphere. We focused mainly on buoyancy, trim and work on the propulsion techniques. Bartek is great at explaining, catching errors and helping to correct them in a clear way. These two days of diving gave me a lot and I will definitely come back for more training.

GUE Fundamentals: insane professionalism on Bartek’s part! He discussed the issues in detail and calmly explained the field drills, which we later performed underwater. During the dives, you could feel calm and composure from him. A huge plus for patiently repeating the elements that I should focus on and improve. Some advices still circulate in my head during my dives. I definitely recommend it!

Last August I did my GUE Rec1 course with Bartek in Sardinia. It has been a truly life-changing experience for me. It was mentally and physically very challenging and yet one of the best and most rewarding decisions I ever made.
Bartek has been the best instructor I could have wished for: passionate, demanding and strict, but equally understanding, funny, calm and reassuring. If this was yelp, I would rate 5/5 😊
I will be forever grateful for this experience!

Global Underwater Explorers (GUE) is a federation known for its exceptionally high training standards that emphasize precision, safety, and effective teamwork. I completed the Fundamentals and Tech 1 courses under the supervision of instructor BartekTrzciński. It required excellent buoyancy control, advanced control over the equipment configuration and strict adherence to procedures. Bartek Trzciński conducts trainings with great professionalism, taking care of details and refinement of students’ skills at the highest level. Thanks to his experience and GUE methodology, I have gained a solid foundation for further development in technical and exploratory diving.

I was originally drawn to the GUE fundamentals course due to its world famous reputation for developing key skills around buoyancy, trim, stability and team awareness.
The fundamentals course with Bartek was fantastic. Whilst the course was challenging, at no point was it overwhelming, as the structure of the course is such that your comfort zone, and also your capacity as a diver, is gradually pushed and extended day by day.
I remember a bizarre moment from day four, where I was back-kicking towards my teammate’s SMB line to keep position, whilst on another teammate’s long hose during an Out of Gas simulation. If you’d told me I’d have been doing that a few days earlier I would never have believed you.
Bartek as an instructor has a great knack for tailoring feedback to each student’s needs. Whilst I appreciate direct, to the point feedback, I could see him adjusting his delivery style to the other teammate’s preferences.
You read a lot online about how fundamentals is this “transformative” course. I wondered if perhaps that claim was over exaggerated by previous students, however I can assure you that its reputation is more than deserved

The REC2 course with Bartek was a great decision! Thanks to his serious approach to theory and vast knowledge, I gained even more confidence underwater. Bartek not only cares about the technique, but also makes sure that each student really understands what they are doing. GUE courses are serious – they require commitment and focus, but the results are worth it. Now every dive is pure pleasure, because I know that I have solid foundations. If someone wants to develop and dive at a high level, Bartek is the perfect instructor.

When I decided to take the REC1 course, I had a lot of concerns – everyone warned me that GUE is a very demanding organization. However, thanks to Bartek’s professionalism and his approach to learning, even my difficulty with concentration and ADHD were not an obstacle. Each lesson was conducted with full commitment, and the theory was conveyed in a clear and concrete way. The course required full concentration, but this is what allowed me to gain a solid foundation for diving at a high level. Now every dive gives me great joy, because I know that I have good preparation and safety under control. I highly recommend it!

We decided to train REC1 with Bartek to feel more confident underwater and to be able to support ourselves well as buddies. It was very intense, but the assumptions were met – now we certainly and stress-free go on diving trips and liveaboards. We also know that we will come back to Bartek to improve our skills

I did the Performance Diver training with Bartek Trzciński in February 2025 and in my opinion it was the best course I have been on so far. It seems like only two days, but the combination of intensive practice (both dry and underwater) with theory (online) really changed a lot when it comes to my skills. Back-kick? Basic 5 when hovering in neutral buoyancy? OOG + surfacing? No problem! For me, this course opened the gate to further adventure with GUE and I am already planning further training under Bartek’s supervision.

GUE Technical Diver 1 course, i.e. a basic technical diving level at GUE entitling you to decompression dives using trimix.
During the Fundamentals course, also with Bartek Trzciński, I thought ” it cannot get any harder”. It can.
But, even though at the beginning the whole team was doing mediocrely, Bartek taught us all these crazy things, and we passed!
If someone wants to dive safely at 50m (instead of hoping for good luck), this is the course for them. I recommend it with all my heart.

I did the GUE Fundamentals course with Bartek Trzciński in 2024, which is 27 years after doing P1 at CMAS. In the meantime I did in CMAS P2, P3, Cave 1, Wreck-sea, Nitrox, Ice and Advanced Nitrox in IANTD.
GUE Fundamentals was the most difficult course I took (until then ;)), but I also learned the most there.
A great program and an even better instructor – I recommend it to everyone who already knows something, but feels unsatisfied and wants to dive better and safer.

I completed two foundational courses with Bartek, where I not only developed essential skills but also gained a deeper understanding of team awareness and collaboration.
Bartek’s teaching goes beyond just technical knowledge; he fosters a learning environment that emphasizes the importance of teamwork, communication, and safety. Moreover, he consistently provides insightful and constructive feedback, helping me identify areas for improvement and growth.

Bartek has played a pivotal role in my development as a GUE diver, guiding me through both Fundamentals and Technical Diver Level 1 courses. Despite his young age, he brings a wealth of experience and a sharp eye for details, emphasising proper technique and other nuances that are crucial for successful underwater exploration.
What I value most is how his classes have connected me to a diverse and supportive diving community, not just in Poland but also other places across western Europe. As a non-Polish speaker, I’m particularly grateful for his ability to teach seamlessly in other languages, making the learning experience more inclusive and accessible.
